The Delicious Cicada watches as clearish yellow fluid oozes from her wing. Hemolymph - the closest thing she has to blood.
It would be greener if she had eaten more plants this week, but she’s not on her best guard as she catches a mantis glance.
And before knows it, it’s way too late.
